2021 - 2022 Annual Membership Page
In the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, we continue to grow. Chadeish Yameinu has many new members and the summer months are filled with educational opportunities, Shabbat celebrations and B'nai Mitzvot. However, our ability to fundraise this year was extremely limited due to the pandemic. Our budget took a major hit. But because of a federal PPP loan, we were able to withstand the brunt of painful financial hardships.
We exist because of you! Membership Dues are crucial to our survival as a congregation. If you have not completed fulfilling payment of your pledge for the 2020-21 fiscal year, please do so before the end of June .Membership | chadeishyameinu
As the 2020-21 fiscal year is coming to a close, and as we budget for the year ahead, CY needs a clear picture of our pledges for the 2021-22 fiscal year. We exist because of you, and your donations. Remember, however, all levels of dues are welcome. No matter how much a person or family contributes, everyone is appreciated, welcomed, and respected. No one is turned away.
It takes about $1,800 per member/family to support our amazing Rabbi and ensure that we meet our organizational operating expenses. We recognize that there are many who cannot contribute this amount, and we are grateful for those who can contribute this amount or more, so that we can continue to offer membership benefits to all who wish to join us. Again, any pledge is welcome. Below are some general guidelines to help you in your decision to pledge:
We recognize and very much appreciate that members like to support CY with additional donations throughout the year (Yahrzeits / In Honor Of / etc.). However, knowing how much we can count on through your pledge commitments gives us confidence to plan an operating budget for the year. Please consider a membership dues/pledge that reflects your desire to support CY.
Our operating budget works best if everyone contributes. It is the most effective way you can ensure the continuing success of our organization.
It is also easy to pay dues with your credit card through our secure PAYPAL account. To create a payment plan, follow the links below (you do NOT need to create a PayPal account if you do not have one)
Pay your Membership dues with these easy links below:
If paying by check, make sure you write on the check that it is for payment of "DUES". You may also send us several post-dated checks at once, if more convenient.
Please send your check(s) to:
P.O. Box 3578
Santa Cruz, CA 95063
This year, we have opened a TD Ameritrade account so members can support Chadeish Yameinu through stock donations. (Stock Donation | chadeishyameinu)
Please email email@example.com for questions about our stock donation program and to update us on any planned transfers.
Finally, check to see if your employer has a “matching donation” program that allows you to multiply your dues support. If your company does not have such a program, BENEVITY is one organization which we know of that will work with companies to set up this kind of charitable giving program for employees.
