Rabbi Phil Posner, a member of Chadeish Yameinu Jewish Renewal of Santa Cruz and Temple Beth El of Aptos, has served congregations across the country for fifty years.  He is currently retired, living in Mexico, and is the author of “The Rabbi and His Famous Friends:  Food for Thought, Character & Soul - Recipes & Blessings Included.”

He was also arrested in the early 1960’s in the American Deep South for participating in the Freedom Rides.
