This Freedom Rider Invites You to My Prison Cell:

A Documentary

Rabbi Phil Posner, a member of Chadeish Yameinu Jewish Renewal of Santa Cruz and Temple Beth El of Aptos, has served congregations across the country for fifty years.  He is currently retired, living in Mexico, and is the author of “The Rabbi and His Famous Friends:  Food for Thought, Character & Soul - Recipes & Blessings Included.”

He was also arrested in the early 1960’s in the American Deep South for participating in the Freedom Rides.

Join us for a showing of his upcoming documentary about his time in the penitentiary, followed by a discussion.

Monday, June 6th, 7 pm at the Chadeish Yameinu shul in the Galleria,

740 Front Street, Suite 170.

RSVP below.  Free and open to all.

Donations to support the production of the documentary can be made at the RSVP link.
